Inspiration and Themes
The place where I grew up was my first source of inspiration. I think my Romantic/Epic conceptions were forged in a combination of a particularly creative mind evolving in these amazingly beautiful surroundings. In these Western-movie like sceneries I was in a near- permanent state of inspiration and more, I could perceive the chant of the world… I have written parts of this chant for female choir at times. They are part of my brand mark and originally all came from that place.
In this world I was free from the disruptions and distortions constant exposure to technology provokes. I was raised in an environment almost completely devoid of it, allowing my gift and
imagination to thrive. Life in my home village was most nurturing, and the references my Grand Father gave me became a substrate on which a solid if not Encyclopaedic knowledge of Cinema and Music grew

In a glimpse, you can see around my time line some of the Authors, Directors or works that have touched and inspired me now and again…
My predilection themes are mostly Fiction/Fantasy rooted in History or Myths, Tragedies, Metaphysics... but my spectrum isn’t limited to them. Over the past 10 years the environmental doom our planet is facing and the vital need to address this peril has also inspired music in me for example…

Colors and Lights, the Emotions, the Characters and their actions are the building bricks of my music. In fact, if you could take a peak inside my mind when it’s engaged in the creative process you’d probably see a movie. It is because of my peculiar way of perception, which generates automatic transfers/transcription into music and images… Here as an illustration are videos that I made using the visuals of others and dubbing them with my music…
Neo-Gothic/Neo-Romantic music serving an “à la Anne Rice” story, Tale of the Ones who trade the Sun for Moon and Stars…
Versatile Enigma, a Neo-Classical Avantgarde series of Suites that would fit several different types of settings
4 Million years ago, Mars dominates our galaxy with the power of Life and Death, before it falls…
Aeternam Vol.II, a “period piece”, Classical and Avant-garde at the same time…
Initially conceived as Operas of sorts, my works can fit many formats. Nowadays Soundtrack production doesn’t necessarily involve musicians, it’s an option and I don’t necessarily have a problem with that; I would however vastly prefer the opportunity of being played by great Symphonies… or some of these great local formations they have in Eastern Europe, Scandinavia or Germany…Musicians Matter…
I edited several shots including Mel Gibson's Apocalypto and dubbed with an excerpt from my Empire of the Sun, "The Jaguar"
